Defect/Repair Categories & Sub Categories

Adding a new Defect/Repair Category

To create a new category select Admin > Defect/Repair Categories

Step 1: Click +New Defect/Repair Category

Step 2: Complete the details

Step 3: Click Submit

Adding a new Defect/Repair Subcategory

To create a new subcategory select Admin > Defect/Repair Categories

Step 1: Choose a Defect/Repair Category

Step 2: Click +New Sub Category

Step 3: Click Submit

Editing or Deleting a Defect/Repair Category or Subcategory

Defect/Repair Categories or Subcategories can be easily removed from your clixifix® account if they are not linked to a Defect/Inspection List.

To edit a category, click the pencil icon to Edit

To delete a category, click the bin icon to Delete

Hiding Defect/Repair Categories and Subcategories

Defect/Repair Categories or Sub Categories can be hidden if required. For example, you may have a defect category which has been previously used but you do not wish to be used in future. As you cannot delete the category, it can be hidden from view.

To access these details click the pencil icon to Edit & then tick/untick the boxes as required. All categories will be ticked as default.
