Comments

Comments can be added manually to Defects or Inspection Lists. 


You can choose for certain users to be notified of your comment by adding them as a Recipient.


- Internal which are only visible to your account users.

- External recipients could be a subcontractor, plot contacts etc. Once looped in they will be able to see the comment and reply, however can only see any comments they are looped into. 


To add a comment, enter comments within the text box. Add a recipient if required, then 

click Add Comments. 



Team Members can only add external comments if this setting is allowed, you can also manage the option for contractors to contact team members on Defect comments which will give them the option to 'loop' certain team members to get a notification of their comment. 


Head to Admin > Your Account > Edit to access these options. 




Comments will show with a time & date stamp within the Comments tab, for audit purposes. 

Comments cannot be deleted once added.




Comments can also be added to Defects by replying to the email notification, rather than logging in.
