Defects on hold

A Defect can be placed on hold if the Defect cannot be completed within the KPI timeframe. 

For example, if you cannot gain access to a property as the Resident is on holiday. 


Once placed on hold, the KPI clock against the Defect is frozen until the Defect is released from hold. 


Placing a Defect on hold


Step 1: Within the chosen Defect, go to the 'Hold Requests' tab.


Step 2: Click on + Request



Step 3: Enter the reason for the hold request within the text box. 


Step 4: Click Put On Hold Now




Adding a Hold Release date


There is also an option to add a hold release date, which will prompt you to action the Defect on that date. For example, you could add a date for when the Resident has returned from holiday. 




Releasing a Defect from Hold


Once the Defect is ready to be released from hold, click on Release Defect From Hold within the 'Hold Requests' tab.
