Adding a plot contact by Email or Phone Number

Modified on Mon, 02 Oct 2023 at 11:29 AM

This is the preferred method to add a Plot Contact as it identifies the person uniquely. It may be that they are associated with a plot on clixifix® already, and checking the email in this way can link them to their existing account.

Step 1: If in Partnership Residential, select the Client and then the Scheme where you wish to add the contact. Or, navigate straight to the Scheme if viewing in the Speculative sector.

Step 2: Select the Plot.

Step 3: Choose the Contacts tab.

Step 4: Add a contact by clicking "+ New Contact"

Step 5: Add the contact's email address, where an email address is not available, there is the option to add a contact using a mobile phone number instead. (The email may be added at a later date)

Step 6: Select Continue

Important notes:
- If the plot contact already exists as a user on clixifix®, their personal details will pull through automatically, with all other areas remaining blank.
- If your account has the Residents Portal enabled, a Start date must be entered against the contact in order for them to gain access to the Portal.
- Unless there is a change in Residency, the End Date field may remain blank. A resident cannot view anything after an End Date.

Step 7: Complete the New Plot Contact form to add the contact to the plot and click Save.

Once saved, the contact can be invited to clixifix® (Send invitation link under status) and be given the ability to create their own Defect Tickets and receive Notifications using the toggle buttons.

Step 8: When a contact is invited to clixifix® they will be prompted to create their own unique password.
Where the Resident Portal is not activated on your account this will add the contact to the plot and not invite them to the Portal.
