Aborting a Defect

Modified on Thu, 21 Nov at 9:41 AM

If required, a Defect can be aborted. This allows the Defect to be closed without affecting your KPI's.

There could be various reasons to abort a Defect, common reasons include a Defect is logged out of DLP, the issue is not covered by warranty, homeowner damage etc.

To abort an open Defect, click on Abortive Visit as shown in the screenshot below. You will be asked to enter a reason for the abort. Once updated click on Submit.

The status of the Defect will then change to Abortive visit as shown in the screenshot and the KPI figures removed. There is an option to re-open the Defect if required.
