Defect Classifications

Defect Classifications is a chargeable feature. If you would like information on pricing please speak with your account manager.

Defect Classifications, previously known as Defect/Ticket Types, allow you to tag each defect with a specific category, such as Home Demo, Handover, or any other custom classification that fits your business processes. These categories provide an additional layer of filtering across your Reports and Dashboards. 

If you'd like to set up specific classifications for your account, simply reach out to your Account Manager or the Support Team, and we'll be happy to arrange this for you.

When adding a Defect, use the dropdown to assign a Defect Classification. The screenshot below shows some example classifications, but these can be customised to suit your needs.

The Defect Classification will be displayed on the Defect and can be changed if required via the edit button.

With this feature you get another filter option on the Defect Dashboard, Plot view and Reports. The filter is available on the following reports; Defects Report, Defects by Scheme, Defects Soon Overdue, Defect Success Report, Combined Defects Report, Defect Frequency Report, Schemes, Outstanding Nomination, Bespoke Report.
